Oberammergau with Rhine, Moselle and Main River Cruise on Emerald Waterways

September 10-20, 2020  

Reynolds Travel has blocked space on a limited basis for the once every ten years performance of the Oberammergau Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany followed by a 7 night cruise on the Main, Rhine and Moselle Rivers from Nuremberg, Germany to Bernkastel, Germany (near Frankfurt, Germany).  The group will depart the Columbus, Ohio on scheduled airline service to Munich, Germany on September, 10, 2020 and fly to Munich, Germany and overnight in Munich for Sept 11^th (we also will be offering early pre-stay package with option to visit Salzburg, Austria and the Hofbraus Haus in Munich) and then on Sept. 11^th depart by motorocach for drive to Oberammergau and we will be housed in Oberammergau for this night with the Passion Play starting in the afternoon and taking a break for included dinner and then after dinner continuation of the Passion Play.  Play is in German and done by all residents of Oberammergau (must live in Oberammergau for 20 years before eligible to perform) and then on Sept 12^th have breakfast and board the motor coach for departure to Nuremberg and our 7 night cruise to Bernkasterl (near Frankfurt) on September 13th.

Emerald Waterways is owned by Scenic Cruises and has about seven river cruise ships for the Emerald Line and they have about as many ships under the Scenic Brand.  They have won several awards as the cruise line offering the best value for price paid.

• Airport Transfers to and from your ship.
• All gratuities, saving you up to $350 per person.

The rates are now being priced for 2020 but will not be available until May, 2018 but you can reserve your reservation now with only a $250 per person refundable deposit.  Once the cruise price is finalized in May,2018, you will choose your stateroom category and a second deposit will be required and both will become non-refundable.  Trip cancellation will be offered.

We offer a sample pricing using the actual cruise price for July 2018 and using sort of a middle second deck category C stateroom.  Here is a per person estimate with air estimate for Columbus, Ohio but we can book your air from anywhere is US:

• Roundtrip air flying from Columbus, Ohio to Munich, Germany and returning from Frankfurt, Germany-Sept. 10 going and Sept. 20 returning- $1400 per person. 
• 2 Oberammergau Passion Play options with one night in Munich and 1 night in Oberammergau 2 breakfasts and Oberammergau performance dinner.- $995 per person based on two to a room
• 7 Night cruise on the Main, Rhine and Moselle aboard Emerald Waterways using July, 2018 price for Category C stateroom- $3,645 per person based on two to a room. Note: There are 1^st level stateroom starting as low as $2,995 to $3045 per person based on two to a rom)
• For those interested, we will be offering an optional pre-tour to Munich with a day trip to Salzburg, Austria and a visit and dinner at the famous Hofbrau Haus in Munich.  We have not priced this option yet but should have it priced by May, 2018.

All participants will need a valid US Passport that will not expire within six months of the return date of Sept 20, 2020.

Again for now, all that is required is a $250 per person refundable deposit until May 2018 when the cruise will be available. So you know, air costing will not be available until about 11 months before our Sept, 20 return date. 

We can accept checks or credit cards for deposits. Also, if you do not live in Ohio, we can book your airfare from any US city just in case you are not in Columbus or have friends or family interested who reside in other states.
